High throughput screening and liquid handling core

The High Throughput Screening and Liquid Handling (HTS) Core is equipped with advanced automation platforms, including the Echo 650 and Biomek i5 (Beckman), integrated with a centrifuge, temperature controller, and mixer. These systems enable fully automated, high-throughput small molecule screening and liquid handling.

The HTS Core maintains in-house compound libraries comprising:

  1. FDA-approved drugs
  2. Epigenetic modulators
  3. Preclinical compounds
  4. Nucleoside analogs

We support translational research for all USC schools, with a focus on therapeutic development and therapeutic target validation. Our services include: 1) High throughput drug screen, 2) Automated and contactless drug dispensing, 3) High-throughput liquid handling for molecular biology applications; and 4) Assay development and optimization.
