Genome Modification Facility

The Genome Modification Facility produces transgenic and knockout mice and rats, and increases the use of mouse and rat technology through education and consultation to the scientific research community. The facility also offers CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing in mice. Ancillary services include in vitro fertilization, re-derivation of mouse strains, and cryopreservation of sperm and embryos, with the overall goal of offering state-of-the art services for the manipulation of mouse and rat genomes.
