Department of Animal Resources

The Department of Animal Resources and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee assist faculty in preparing proposals and carrying out animal-based research and teaching activities at USC. 

Services include: clinical, surgical and diagnostic laboratory services, ordering drugs and supplies, animal orders and transfers and rodent euthanasia. Training programs in Animal Care and Use are also offered to principal investigators, staff and students, as well as education programs for Laboratory Animal Technicians.
