Purpose

The ARC program was created to fuel pioneering research in strategic areas of importance to Agilent, empowering scientific innovation and celebrating impactful contributions from academic institutions.  This research program is extremely selective, and I would like to request that your institution will help select the most competitive principal investigators to apply for this Call.  The application process is light, and we are seeking project proposals scoped for a 3-year period with a total budget up to $500K (USD).  Further award details, as well as the application form and process can be found on the ARC2025-NDD website.

Award Focus Topic:

Studying the Connectivity Between Epigenetic Factors and Metabolism to Support Biomarker or Therapeutic Development in Neurodegenerative Diseases

Additional Information:

  • Proposals incorporating the development and evaluation of DNA and methylation marker candidates—without sample splitting or signal loss in cfDNA—and associating these markers with metabolic factors influencing the progression of neurodegenerative disease are encouraged.
  • Proposals that leverage multimodal data including cell analysis tools and mass spectrometry synergistically with DNA and methylation and marker candidates are encouraged
  • Applications with coinvestigators at the same institution are permitted to encourage multimodal approaches.
